What is a Full Active LED Display Standee, and how is it different from an LCD standee?

It is a floor-standing display where the entire front surface is an LED panel, with no frame around the picture. An LCD standee shows content inside a bordered screen, usually at lower brightness. The LED version fills the full height and width of the unit with a bright image, so the effect is much closer to a large moving poster and is easier to notice from a distance.

Which pixel pitch should I choose — P2.5, P3 or P4?

It depends on how close people will stand. P2.5 gives the sharpest picture for viewers about 2.5 metres or nearer, such as reception areas and store entrances. P3 suits distances of around 3 metres and above. P4 is a cost-effective choice for viewing distances of 4 metres and more, such as halls, exhibition floors and event spaces. How do I update the content on the standee?

There are two ways. For a quick local change, load new files on a USB drive and plug it into the media player. For remote updates, use the AdrTech India CMS: upload from any internet-connected device and the content reaches the standee over Wi-Fi or LAN. The CMS also supports schedules, so different content can play at different times of the day without anyone visiting the standee.

Can I use it in a semi-outdoor or outdoor location?

The standard standee is meant for indoor spaces and covered semi-outdoor areas such as entrance canopies, sheltered concourses and open-sided pavilions. For places with direct rain and heavy sunlight, AdrTech India can supply a weatherproof outdoor variant with an IP65-rated enclosure and a much brighter panel. Please tell us where the unit will be placed so that we quote the correct version.

How much power does it use and how long do the LEDs last?

The system draws about 293 W per square metre in typical use and up to 879 W per square metre at maximum brightness, on a supply of AC 90–264V. The LED modules are rated for around 50,000 hours, which is several years of daily use. How long does installation take, and what warranty do I get?

Standard delivery and installation usually take 7–14 working days from order confirmation, and include positioning, power connection, media player and CMS setup and operator training. Multi-city rollouts are coordinated by our project team. Every standee carries a 1-year on-site warranty covering the LED panel, media player, power supply and frame, and post-warranty AMC is available for inspection, pixel maintenance, updates and priority spares.
