What is indoor digital signage, and how is it different from a normal TV?

Indoor digital signage is a display system that plays videos, images and text in customer-facing indoor spaces and is controlled remotely through software. A normal TV is made for a few hours of home viewing and has no scheduling or multi-screen control. A signage screen is built to run for long hours, works in portrait as well as landscape, comes with a media player and CMS, and carries a commercial warranty, so it is much more dependable for daily business use.

Which screen size should I pick?

It depends on how far viewers will be. Screens of 32–43 inches suit counters, cabins and shelf-side displays. Sizes of 50–55 inches work for shop entrances, corridors and cafeterias where people are about 2–5 metres away. How long does installation take?

One screen on a wall or floor stand is usually up and running within a few hours, including cabling, network and software setup. Projects with many screens across floors or buildings generally take two to five working days. We also set up your first layouts and train your administrator on the spot. Our team travels to Delhi NCR, Punjab, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad and other major cities.

Does the signage need the internet all the time?

Internet (Wi-Fi or LAN) is needed for first-time setup and whenever you send new content from the dashboard. After that, the media player stores the content and plays it locally, so a short network break does not stop the display. Where broadband is weak, a 4G/LTE option is available, and content can also be loaded from a USB drive for fully offline use.

Can the screens run non-stop, 24x7?

Yes, if you choose the 24×7-rated version. Standard screens are rated for around 16 hours a day, which is enough for shops, offices and most public areas. Hospitals, transit areas and other round-the-clock locations should go for the 24×7 panels. To make screens last longer, we suggest switching them off after working hours and lowering brightness at quiet times — both can be scheduled from the dashboard.

What warranty and support do you offer?

You get a 1-year on-site warranty that covers the display, media player, power supply and the mounting hardware we supply. Remote help is available within 24 hours of a complaint, and an engineer visits site within 48–72 hours in our service cities. Software updates are included in the first year, and after the warranty you can opt for an AMC that includes preventive maintenance, priority spares and remote support.
